6. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you may have the following rights:

  • The right to access your personal data

  • The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

  • The right to request deletion of your personal data

  • The right to restrict or object to processing

  • The right to request data portability

  • The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

  • The right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@flicknetic.com. We may request verification of your identity before processing your request.

We will respond to your request without undue delay and in any event within one (1) month of receipt. Where a request is complex, or where we have received a number of requests from you, we may extend that period by up to a further two (2) months; if we do, we will tell you within one month of receiving your request and explain why.

Exercising your rights is free of charge. We may charge a reasonable fee, or refuse to act, only where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

How to withdraw consent and how to complain to us are set out in section 7 below.

7. Complaints and Withdrawal of Consent

7.1 Withdrawing your consent

Where we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent is free and does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal.

  • Cookies and analytics: reopen the cookie settings panel using the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of any page, then choose “Reject all” or switch off individual categories and save. Your choice takes effect immediately.

  • Marketing messages: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us at info@flicknetic.com.

  • Any other processing based on consent: email info@flicknetic.com stating which consent you wish to withdraw.

We will action your withdrawal without undue delay and in any event within one (1) month of receipt. We will stop the relevant processing unless we have a separate legal basis to continue — for example, retaining transaction and verification records to meet tax, accounting or anti-money-laundering obligations. If that is the case, we will tell you which data we must keep and why.

7.2 Complaining to us about how we handle your data

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data or a data protection request, please email info@flicknetic.com using the subject line “Data Protection Complaint”. Please include your name, the email address registered to your account, and a description of the issue.

We log every complaint in an internal complaints register on the day it is received. For each complaint we record a unique reference number, the date of receipt, the nature of the complaint, the person responsible for handling it, all correspondence and investigation steps with their dates, the date of our final response and the outcome. Complaint records are kept for six (6) years from closure.

We will acknowledge your complaint within five (5) business days of receipt and send our final response within thirty (30) calendar days. If a case is complex and we need longer, we will write to you before day 30 with the reason and a revised date, which will not exceed forty (40) business days from receipt.

The full procedure, including complaints that are not about data protection, is set out in our Complaints Policy.

7.3 Complaining to a supervisory authority

You always have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, whether or not you have complained to us first. As we are established in Ireland, our lead supervisory authority is the Data Protection Commission:

Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland
Website: www.dataprotection.ie

If you live or work in another EEA country, you may instead complain to the supervisory authority in that country.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience, analyze Website traffic, and improve our services.

Cookies may store preferences and technical information that help us optimize the Website’s functionality. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.

For more detailed information, please refer to our Cookies Policy.

9. International Data Transfers

We are established in the Republic of Ireland, and your personal data is primarily stored and processed within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Some personal data is transferred to, or accessible from, countries outside the EEA (“third countries”), in particular the United States. These transfers result from our use of certain service providers, including:

  • analytics providers (Google Analytics) — website usage data, only where you have consented to analytics cookies;

  • security, anti-bot and content-delivery providers (including Cloudflare) — technical and connection data;

  • the Steam platform operated by Valve Corporation — the account, trade and inventory data needed to deliver or receive in-game items;

  • payment service providers and, where applicable, identity-verification providers.

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure that at least one of the safeguards required by Chapter V of the GDPR is in place:

  • an adequacy decision of the European Commission covering the recipient country or certification framework (for example the EU–US Data Privacy Framework); or

  • Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, together with supplementary technical and organisational measures where these are needed; or

  • another transfer mechanism permitted under Chapter V of the GDPR.

You can request details of the safeguard we rely on for a specific transfer, and a copy of the relevant documents, by emailing info@flicknetic.com.

10. Third-Party Websites

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, policies, or content of such websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal data.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Website is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the Website after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
