CS2’s third season of Premier has concluded, and a data miner has predicted when the fourth season will begin.

On the night of January 20th, a minor update was released in Counter-Strike 2, which blocked players from accessing Premier mode matchmaking. Along with this, the shooter’s third competitive season officially concluded. 

Valve hasn’t announced a start date for Season 4. However, an English-language data miner named Thour analyzed the schedule of previous updates and concluded that the cycle will resume on January 21st.

S1 Update – Wednesday, September 27, 2023
S2 Update – Wednesday, January 29, 2025
S3 Update – Wednesday, July 16, 2025

According to this schedule, Season 4 is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

CS2 developers previously announced that Anubis would replace Train in the competitive map pool. The changes will go into effect in Season 4.
