Valve confirmed Cache’s return to CS2

Counter-Strike 2 developers publicly confirmed they are working on the map Cache. The comment appeared on X’s social media account.

Valve’s response stemmed from discussion of a patch released on the night of January 22nd. The official Natus Vincere account pointed out that Cache was still missing from the game, despite numerous rumors of its imminent arrival. In response, the CS2 account stated that the map was “in progress.”

The controversial update marked the start of Season 4 of Premier mode. Along with it, the developers made changes to the competitive map pool, with Anubis replacing Train.
